| Aerial cable car Zoo filed on: 08.10.2004 (8th Oct 2004) An aerial cable car is proposed to relieve the growing congestion around Zoo. Connecting to the S-Bahn at Stettbach, this could provide significant time-saving for passengers from the East. Cabins will hold 8 persons and be fully disabled accessible. Besides relieving congestion, the installation could become an attraction in its own right. According to executive councillor, Andres Türler, this project will cost 16.7 million Franks and could be operational by late 2009. source: 20 min.
