| Tram for Lugano? filed on: 15.11.2007 (15th Nov 2007) A group of nine Lugano councillors spanning five political parties have called for trams to return to this town in the southern part of Switzerland. A North-South line is proposed from Cornadero to the Scairolo plain. Lugano had trams until 1959. source: NZZ
