| RBS sets meter-gauge speed record filed on: 23.07.2009 (23rd Jul 2009) Bern's regional rail operator, RBS, has claimed the Swiss speed record for meter gauge. The record of 133.5km/h was acheived during testing of Stadler's new NeXT (Niederflur Express Triebzug). In total six of these units are being delivered to RBS. Their highest speed in regular service will be 120km/h — also a record. source: Stadler
